Ensure Press Releases are following standard PR formatting
Review and edit press releases for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall clarity
Ensure that press releases adhere to brand voice and messaging guidelines
Work closely with our marketing and PR teams to understand the goals of each press release and tailor the messaging accordingly
SEO Optimize PR content as presented by our marketing team and writers
Fact-check all claims and statistics included in press releases
Collaborate with designers to ensure that press releases are visually appealing and easy to read
Meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality
Your Profile:
Excellent mastery of the English Language
A degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
2+ years of experience as a copy editor, ideally in a PR or marketing context
Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
Strong attention to detail and a knack for catching errors
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines
