JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the insurance industry and be responsible for assisting the licensed agents in various tasks related to insurance policies, including managing evidences of insurance, handling billing concerns, managing phone coverage, administrative tasks, data entry, and reporting form/premium audit.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage evidences of insurance, including verifying coverage, gathering requests from clients, reviewing previous certificates of insurance as a resource, and sending completed certificates of insurance to the licensed person for approval.

Handle billing concerns by assisting clients with payments, answering questions about due dates or installments, facilitating mortgagee bills, and setting up recurring bill payments through the carrier site.

Manage phone coverage by serving as the first point of contact for clients, answering non-coverage questions, and taking detailed messages for changes or concerns.

Perform administrative tasks such as sending notices to clients for undisclosed driver memo/good student discounts, engaging clients on inspection reports, notifying licensed agents of non-renewals, and running daily downloads for the agency.

Handle data entry tasks related to new business prospects, merger client details, book transfer/roll, and reshops.

Assist in preparing commercial renewal applications by completing apps and supplementals based on current term policy, updating apps and supplementals with data gathered by licensed staff, and sending the completed application to the licensed agent for submission to the carrier.

Manage reporting form/premium audit by noting AMS of first notice of loss, setting up tasks to check with clients after claim occurs, and attaching notices of claim denials or large claim payout notices.

Requirements:

Familiarity with EZLynx CRM for Insurance
Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Understanding of Google Products including GMAIL, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Etc
