Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist

The Shepherd Homes Group, a high performing real estate team in the Washington, D.C. area, is hiring for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to support in the development and execution of SEO strategy for our company. We are looking for a passionate search engine specialist with an extensive background in both technical and on-page SEO, analytics, and content strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct keyword research to provide keywords and detailed on-page recommendations to help optimize content that increases visibility within search engines and drives relevant traffic to our website

Analyze and compile relevant data across various reporting platforms to measure the effectiveness of SEO efforts and provide performance insights on an ongoing basis.

Provide SEO analysis and recommendations on the structure of our site and pages to improve visibility, user journey flow, signaling to search engines.

Conduct a site audit that is inclusive of technical SEO recommendations and the ability to execute on those improvements.

Monitor SEO performance by utilizing SEO tools such as SEMRush, Search Console, GA4 and Google Looker Studio.

Stay abreast of industry trends and continually identifying and presenting new digital advertising opportunities.

Assist with monthly/quarterly keyword ranking reporting and provide insight into opportunities to reoptimize website content for additional or improved Upgrade to see actual infosired Qualifications:

3 years of SEO experience
Demonstrated success managing accounts
Strong understanding of website analytics (Google Analytics 4 and Universal Analytics)
Experience with Google Tag Manager, Search Console, and Search Central (formerly Webmasters)
Ability to build reporting based off web behavior and key SEO metrics
Strong creative aptitude, including a keen eye for design and content strategy

Salary comesurate with experience.
