Long Term Opportunity for Music Lovers! Writing/Editing for a Popular Music Website

If you're a musician, music producer, or sound engineer (even at a casual or hobby level) and you're interested in writing about a variety of topics then this is the job for you!

As a music writer and editor, you will be responsible for creating engaging content for our readers. You may write how-to guides, tutorials, informational content, reviews, features, and other content related to music and music gear.

We have detailed instructions and workflows that will guide you through the process of creating content for our website, so it will be easy to get started.

I’m very easy to work with and I like to foster a friendly and encouraging environment for the team.

I respect your time zone. I won’t be asking you to work outside regular hours. I would expect the majority of this work to be done during your own regular working hours (or on western European time if that suits you better).

Please only apply to this job if you will be available for a significant amount of hours per week (e.g. I need writers that can commit to between 30 to 40 hours per week on a regular basis (excluding holiday periods of course)).

Must haves:
- Must have great English writing and communication skills.
- Must have a love for music and some level of experience with creating music (either through music production or playing a musical instrument).
- Must have great verbal English skills
- Must be tech-savvy and willing to learn new technologies and tools (we provide great instructions on all new tools that we’re introducing to the team)
- Must be motivated and hardworking.
- Must be able to follow instructions where necessary.
- Must have a fast internet connection.
- Must be available daily (excluding holidays and time off).
- You must have reasonably fast typing skills and have the ability to work quickly and diligently on your tasks.
