Content Writer/Proofreader

Job Description:
Must write 3-4 news stories with a combined total of 2,500-3,000 words on average per day
Must do own research for other sources
Must meet the 48-hour deadline of writing assignments

Qualifications:
College degree (in journalism or related fields)
Relevant experience as a reporter, news writer or similar role
Experience doing research using multiple sources
Familiar with web publications, or with WordPress
Excellent writing and editing skills
Portfolio of published articles (not a must, but a plus)

Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of related working experience
Own computer with minimum specifications to perform the job function
Fast and stable internet, with at least 25 MBPS (download and upload speed)
Internet connection back-up (No internet connection is considered an unexcused absence)

Salary is negotiable. Although this is freelance, we require full-time work hours (minimum 40 hours per week). Work hours are flexible per day.
