Local SEO Specialist Revised March 2023

Responsibilities:
Local Citation Building and Set Up in partnership with a Local Citation Service
Optimize profiles on Google and Bing to ensure key business information is up to date and adequately ranks amongst the competitors of each client
Track targeted keywords to ensure clients are ranking and receiving their desired outcomes
Upload and post to Google Business Profiles or Yelp profiles to keep businesses relevant and active on search engines
Develop plans for local link building
Routine review management of each local client to ensure that reviews are seen and addressed as businesses deem necessary
Work with clients on obtaining reviews for their business
Set up systems for businesses to receive more reviews using third-party website outreach programs or customer experience and online review engines


Experience:
Minimum 1-year:
Working in SEO / Digital Marketing Fulfillment
Managing Google Business Profiles/Bing Places Profiles
Experience working with local citation services such as Yext, WhiteSpark, or Moz
Experience with Google maps & mobile/desktop functionality
Experience with Google Analytics & Google Insights
Experience with GBP & Bing Places Interface
A basic understanding of Web Development as it?relates to WordPress and Plugins
Experience handling multiple accounts and upkeeping communications amongst multiple departments
Familiarity with customer experience and online review engines such as BirdEye, ReviewTrackers, GatherUp, or Arrivala, is preferred
Familiarity with Project Management Tools and Employee Productivity Tracking Systems is preferred
