Under the leadership of the project manager and operations manager , the project coordinator contributes to the overall project management objectives by providing assistance in planning, review and administrative support -
Essential Functions -
- Using the companies project management software to prepare subcontracts and processing of weekly labor invoices
- Assist with project start-up and organization
- Maintain project files
- Maintain submittal logs, RFI log, change estimate and change order logs
- Assist with cost control including purchase order management and reconciliation
- Process and distribute shop drawings
- Distribution of documents as directed by project manager/operations manager
- Review daily time cards for in house labor, and produce weekly timesheets for payroll processing
- Maintain issues log and correspondence for all active projects
Qualifications
Comfortable with emerging construction management technologies - Plangrid, Bluebeam, Esub, Procore
Microsoft excel, drop box, gmail proficiency
Good verbal and written communication are essential for clear communications with the Field Staff/ Subcontractors / Vendors and Clients
A positive attitude with a Can Do/Team player attitude is a must
Ability to work independently with limited over sight following company procedures and process
EXPERIENCE IN THE US CONSTRUCTION MARKET PREFERRED
