JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist with expertise in Content Marketing and Organic Growth.

This individual will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and distributing marketing content across multiple audience segments and numerous channels, and will leverage relationships with internal subject matter experts and external stakeholders to deliver high-impact, on-message marketing materials. The ideal candidate is an exceptional content writer, specialist in social media, strategist, collaborator, and a quick learner who is passionate about developing and distributing compelling content.

These are the main responsibilities of a Marketing Specialist:

Write contents and create strategy for blogs, videos, and social media posts
Distribute the content and grow social media channels.
The tasks associated with the high-level goals are below:

Develop audience- and market-specific content for the following, but not limited to company and project websites, social media copy, blog posts, e-newsletter articles, email copy, fact sheets, collateral, presentations, whitepapers, infographics, case studies, and industry articles for publication.
Craft exciting, well-researched content to drive traffic, engage and convert target customers
Maintain brand message and brand voice consistency, as well as the timely coordination of project deadlines. Copy edit and review content for messaging, style guidelines, brand consistency, and voice; provide guidance to ensure high-quality writing
Collaborate with a range of stakeholders to produce assets specific to the needs of the Invenergy marketing department and other departments as assigned.
Partner with the brand and creative team to bring content assets to life
Research and source new content for company website and materials.
Identify key topic areas and industry trends for content development, maintaining a content calendar for distribution of messaging across marketing channels.
Research and monitor competitor marketing activities.
Repurpose existing content for various media channels (web, print, video, social)
Monitor and update all existing content to ensure that it’s current and accurate.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working with the Marketing Executive to set project scope, priorities, deadlines, and schedules.
Track, evaluate, and report on the performance of various content pieces.
Identify opportunities to combine compelling content with effective lead generation strategies across marketing channels.
Conceive new content ideas and drive the process from concept to delivery of the final product
Collaborate with writers and contractors to contribute to cross-functional content calendar
Continuously measure and improve content performance by testing a variety of tools, formats, and distribution channels
Stay up-to-date with the latest content marketing trends in order to build more effective campaigns
Contribute to social media postings
Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year experience in content writing and social media management
Experience with managing or creating content for paid and organic online media
Experience with B2B Marketing
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in marketing automation systems
Strong understanding of SEO, tactics, and strategies
Exceptional writing and editing skills; proven ability to comprehend and convey complex information quickly and clearly
Strong project management and organizational skills including content calendar creation
