JOB OVERVIEW

Responsibilities:
- Source leads for Business development – Prospect potential leads through cold calling, email marketing and social media.
- Complete 75% of the sales cycle and then schedule appointments for higher management to meet with potential clients
- Contact businesses by telephone to set an appointment with the key person in the company.
- Data mining
- Explain the product or service to potential customers
- Adjust scripted sales pitches to meet the needs of specific individuals
- Obtain and record customer information, including names and addresses, as well as reactions to the product or service offered
- Email and call customers to find out the business operation system they are using
- Secure contact details of potential customers from sources including telephone directories and purchased lists
- Respond proactively to customers in order to respond to questions and clarifications
- Coordinate and schedule meetings with potential and existing customers as necessary
- Comply with achieving the set KPIs that is relevant to the role
- Update CRM with information
- Handle customer objections by means of proper rebuttals
- Conduct follow-up calls/meetings until the closure of the transaction
- Conduct customer and marketing surveys
- Research any required information using available resources
- Any other related tasks that may be assigned by the client or Team Leader

Requirements:
- Must have at least a year of experience using market research tool – LinkedIn, Google, ZoomInfo, etc
- Must have intermediate knowledge in using MS Excel
- Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's/College Degree, Advertising/Media, Mass Communications, Marketing or equivalent.
- Above-average English communication skills - both written and oral
- At least 1 year of working experience in the related field / in the Freight Forwarding industry is required for this position
- At least with 1 year of experience specializing in Customer Service, Telesales/Telemarketing or equivalent
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies
- Good ability to maintain professionalism with customers who do not respond positively to their calls
- Ability to multi-task and complete each task accordingly
- Must be a team player
- With a positive attitude towards difficult situations
- Can start ASAP and amenable to required schedules
