Senior Software Development Engineer

About us
We are a SaaS company based in the USA with a staff of 10 Filipino Developers and we are looking to add more developers to our development team. We have a strong company culture in both the US and Philippines! Our development team’s only focus is on our own software platform which is an automated sales system, we do not take on “client work” or “contract work”. Our developers work in an agile team with 2 week sprints. The team works closely together with daily standup, ticket scoring, pair programming, and 1-on-1 meetings to ensure that everyone is enjoying their job. Our elite and fun team is looking for one more senior developer, and you could be the one!

Requirements
- Full Stack Developer Experience
- AWS Experience
- Proficient with GIT (branch management, PR creation and reviewing)
- Strong javascript/typescript skills including working with async/await
- Experience writing easily testable code and using tests
- Experience creating REST or GraphQL API
- MySQL Experience

Our Expectations:
Our biggest expectation is that all teaUpgrade to see actual infombers treat each other with respect and kindness. We do not micro-manage and your productivity will be measured by sprint velocity which allows for great flexibility and gives you the opportunity to quickly prove your skills. We expect you to work 35 - 40 hours per week while you will have a lot of control over your daily schedule.

What you can expect from us:
We will process payroll for the 1st and 15th of each month. We will make our best effort to provide as much guidance as possible, answer questions as quickly as possible, and help make your daily work experience as pleasant as possible. We will listen to your ideas, and give you lots of opportunity for collaboration in our agile process.

Our hiring process:
We will review all the applications that are submitted and will reach out as quickly as we can to schedule a short initial zoom interview. The final part of our process is to assign a paid 8-16 hour project that will give us a little experience with communication and working together. This project is paid as long as our process is followed (communication requirements and pushing your code), regardless if the project is finished or if a job offer is made. After the test project there is a final video call with the CEO of the company, project manager, and dev manager to finalize the decision about joining the team.
