Sales Rep

Position Summary

We are a recruiting company that specializes in Manufacturing and Engineering industries. As a Sales Representative for us you’ll be cold calling Human Resource Managers, Operation’s Leaders, and sometimes C-suite executives to introduce us and ask if they have hiring needs. You will also follow up via email when calls are not answered or otherwise required. The goal of your role will be to book an appointment with a decision maker if they’re hiring and would like to learn more about recruiting services.


Job Duties/ Responsibilities
• Appointment setting and confirmations through cold calls and email follow up.
• Updating each call with the status. (not interested, left a voicemail, etc..) in company client management software.
• Engaging in active listening with customers, confirming or clarifying the information
• Quickly relay interested prospects to Manager, to get appointments booked.
• Understanding and striving to spread VPC’s message.
Qualification Requirements
• Experience working for a recruiting company (preferred but not required)
• Experience cold calling highly preferred
• Ability to communicate via email, send follow ups and let manager know when a prospect is interested in meeting
• A team player with a high level of dedication
• Ability to prioritize own workload
• Strong communication skills
• Must be detail-oriented

• Ability to understand the company’s mission, value and communicate it to prospective customers.
