Overview:

We are looking for a detail oriented, enthusiastic Production Designer who has a strong understanding of Photoshop and Illustrator with a minimum of 2 years of production design experience. This candidate will focus mainly on our Personal Creations brand. The successful candidate will have a portfolio that demonstrates strong sense of photo manipulation, aesthetic proficiency, problem solving skills, typography and outstanding color knowledge. Creativity and a passion to present unique ideas are highly appreciated. Must possess advanced skills in photo editing, typography, production and retouching to succeed in a deadline sensitive environment.



Responsibilities:
- High Volume production of Scene7 templates & image previews
- Getting feedback on previews and making changes and improvements
- Working with various files from the following applications
- InDesign
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Production image editing work to support the preview projects
- Preservation of image integrity through non-destructive editing techniques
- Managing image uploads and review/approval notifications
- Proactively seeking input from internal project managers and teammates
- Working effectively and calmly under deadline-driven pressure

Qualifications:
- Photoshop / Creative Suite
- Complete understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite, as well as very strong Photoshop skills including retouching, masking, color correction and composing.
- Scene 7 knowledge (a plus if you have Scene 7)
- The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge and understanding of the basic Scene 7 concepts through previous experience and/or beginner training that will be provided from Adobe
- Understanding of both IS/IR Scene 7 servers and the different uses/functions of both.
- Scripting / Programming / HTML / IT
- An understanding of programming concepts and ideas. This can come in the form of C++, Javascript, Applescript, HTML, or any programming language.
- Solid understanding of IT concepts and server structures
- Strong Creative skills visual sense
- A Creative background and the ability to judge if an image is a good representation of a product, if it is showing a product in the best way in color and quality.
- The ability to think about what will make sense to customers viewing images on line, proactively thinking through what makes a good customer experience previewing a product image.
- Team Player / Communicator
- The proven ability to work as a team and communicate the current project progress, as well as any issues, problems, concerns, and enhancements to the current projects.
- Ability to streamline the current methods and workflows developing more efficient workflows for Personalization Preview implementation
