Hi! I am looking for a highly motivated and ambitious Virtual Assistant with graphic and web design experience with Squarespace.
The Job Overview
We seek a Squarespace developer to help us build, maintain, and improve our websites. You will be responsible for implementing new features in existing Squarespace installations as well as developing new projects from scratch. This will involve communicating and working with a team to successfully deliver finished projects that meet requirements for a successful launch.
Responsibilities
Below are some of the responsibilities a Squarespace developer is expected to assume in their position:??
Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using web development best practices and functionality
Create basic website layouts and user interfaces with HTML and CSS
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Create and maintain software documentation
Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
Collaborate with web designers and graphic designers to realize visual design intent
Write Squarespace code by using Squarespace APIs
SEO and pixel footprint customer tracking from social media accounts and google
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
Below are the qualifications expected of a Squarespace developer:
2+ years of experience in front-end development preferred and back end development
Proficiency with HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
Familiarity with Squarespace and related Squarespace products
Familiarity with version control and website design
Experience with relational databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or SQLite
Familiarity with test-driven and agile development practices
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Pixel connecting and footprinting
Working Hours:
Time will be eastern time at least 4 days a week part-time.
Rate:
Project based (negotiable)
