Possible tasks include:
* weekly bookkeeping and payroll processing for a range of clients plus some rescue jobs for clients using Xero and Dext
* monthly IAS, quarterly and monthly BAS, super lodgements, and job coding
* admin assistance to the owner
*adhoc reconciliations
*manual journal entries
*preparation of recurring accounts payable payruns
*drafting of accounts receivable invoices
*monitoring accounts receivable & debt collection tasks
*review/quality control of detailed GL on a recurring basis
• You will be closely working with the owner for any bookkeeping tasks you may be assigned.
• You must be very organised, proactive, and be able to manage your own workload and deadlines.
• You will be responsible for multiple clients and need to have an exceptional and responsive customer service approach.
• You will need to be great at problem-solving, troubleshooting, process improvement, and with a solid understanding of GST and payroll.
Your background:
• Bookkeeping experience working with an Australian Bookkeeping firm, with multiple clients (this is essential)
• Dext experience an advantage
• End-to-end experience using Xero required
• Xero Projects experience is an advantage
• Must be able to complete GST rec and BAS prep
• Tech-savvy and great with spreadsheets

Fortnightly wage
10AUD/hr starting rate but can be negotiable depending on experience
