PHP Developer

Greyphin is looking for a strong web developer for a fully remote position to start as soon as possible.

Greyphin is a scrappy digital marketing agency with a small but tight-knit team. We build websites and establish a first-time web presence for a variety of businesses. Additionally, we offer larger, fully-custom e-commerce platforms with payment processing, shipping, and email integrations. We also manage our clients' web presence and routinely generate content for them. Our projects run the gamut, so we're looking for a versatile and diligent coworker to join our fun group of nerds.

We expect much growth this year and hope to improve our current processes in terms of production time and quality. An ideal web developer will be able to self-manage their time and schedule; they'll need to have the ability to pay attention to detail and possess excellent organizational skills. Additionally, communicating effectively is critical, especially via email and instant messenger. Since we're entirely remote, the above skills contribute to a smooth workflow when interacting with coworkers.

Regarding technical skills, the idea web developer should be familiar with 1 of these 2 languages and be willing to learn the other:

PHP
Coldfusion/Lucee/CFScript


Other skills which would be nice to have are:

Basic knowledge of Javascript/JQuery

What you'll do:

Web App development
Maintenance of CodeIgniter PHP sites
Maintenance of Lucee Sites
New Development
Developing new features for our internal apps
Fixing Bugs
Build reusable code for future use

Part of your time will be spent creating new websites, and part of your time will be spent maintaining clients' websites with desired updates from the client as well as our SEO/Marketing team
