About the role

We need a Senior Web Developer who can lead a team of Web Developers from Client Engagements to Task Delegation.

Responsibilities

The Senior Web Developer is responsible for ensuring the quality of coding, innovative design and layout of our website or the client's website. Other responsibilities include as being a lead in building websites from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.

Location & commitments
• Permanent full-time role based at home (WFH) Monday-Friday (37-40 hours per week)
• Brisbane, AU work hours (UTC+10) only 2 hours difference from Manila, PH work hours
• Queensland, AU Public Holidays are observed

Essential Skills:

*Excellent communication skills exhibiting leadership
*High attention to detail
*Web Design UX / UI
*3+ Years' Experience with WordPress & WooCommerce
*Experience with Elementor Page builder
*Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery/JavaScript & PHP
*Understanding the various components that go into an e-commerce website (plugins, payment gateways, shipping, CSV product lists, hooks/filters etc.)
*Ability to construct a fully functional website from a Figma or Adobe XD design
*Ability to communicate and discuss technical terms in simplified terms
*Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement solutions collaboratively and independently
*Committing to understanding new technology and upgrading skills
*Project Management experience to keep web projects on track and monitor time on task

Desirable Skills:

*Full-stack web development
*Understanding of SEO fundamentals
*Experience with Google Analytics
*Knowledge of web hosting (cPanel) and DNS
*Understanding of UX/UI design principles
*Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
*Experience with Shopify / Shopify+ or other ECommerce platforms
