ABOUT THE JOB:

As a Director of Operations, you’ll serve as a leader and people manager, providing management and mentorship, as well as keeping the business running at a high level - from project staffing to revenue management. Lead short and long-term strategic planning of the operations to make informed business solutions that not only bring out the best in our organization but also for our people.

What You’ll Be Doing
Directs and oversees both internal and external operations and administrative support staff
Working with the Human Resources department to create job descriptions, hire competent personnel and oversee employee training programs
Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy
Facilitates performance reviews for staff under his/her direct supervision
Maintains the organization’s administrative policies and procedures manual
Serves as a member of the organization’s key administrative decision-making and planning body
Establishes metrics, guidelines, and standards for evaluating the company's efficiency and effectiveness; identifies areas for improvement
Develops, implements, and monitors day-to-day operational systems and processes that give us visibility into our key initiatives' goals, progress, and challenges
Plans directs, controls, implements, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts budgets and cost of sales in each division to achieve financial objectives in collaboration with other management staff
Informs managers of new directives, policies, or procedures; for major changes, meets with the entire operations staff to explain the changes, answer questions, and keep morale high
Leads the coordination and integration of efforts between the operations, administration, and customer service divisions to create a more efficient workflow and business processes
Represents the organization in a positive light to employees, customers, industry, and the community
Performs other related duties as assigned

About You:

You have 7+ years of related experience in an extensive and diversified operations management role
Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business and finance
You have the ability to direct multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and do not allow things to fall through the cracks
Strong written and verbal communication skills to a wide variety of audiences
Effectively plan, execute strategies and, recognize issues and deal with them directly
Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite or related software
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
