Social Media Video Editor - U.S. Clients - Create Reels

We are looking to add a talented and experienced Video Editor to our growing team.

The successful candidate will have experience making short form videos for TikTok and IT Reels. You take the raw video from the client and turn it into something special.

Ww also need occasional help with long form videos for YouTube.

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for applying artistic editing techniques and be able to accurately capture the story and theme that the client is trying to achieve.

This is a HOME-BASED job that requires both technical skills with video editing and a flair for graphic design. The VE will provide editing support to U.S. Based Clients.

MUST HAVE FILMORA EXPERIENCE!

Responsibilities:

- Meet with the clients or lead video editor to determine video style and production vision.
- Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software (Filmora) and ensure each was updated in the correct format
- Must know how to use Canva and how to utilize it for video editing.
- Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation
- Edit video to include preselected music, sound effects, elements, animations, and other important aspects of the project
- Ensure to quality check video project before sending it to the client or lead video editor.
- Create engaging and beautiful thumbnails in Canva

Qualifications

- At least 1-year of work experience in video editing using Filmora
- At least 1-year of work experience in graphic designing using Canva
- Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
- Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with clients and the ability to bring them to life
- Creative and artistic skills
- Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
