Accountant and Bookkeeper

We are looking for an Accountant and Bookkeeper who is dynamic, mature, and a leader who will play a pivotal role in the management of our Finance and Accounting Department.

This person must be a strong communicator, as well as highly self-motivated. We are a leading supplier of artificial grass in Australia.

Our Head Office is in Melbourne, but we have locations in New South Wales and Queensland so we require all teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to be accountable and keep other members in the loop.

This is a full-time role, working Australian business hours (Sydney).

Role Requirements

Must have at least 3 years in a similar role

Bookkeeping experience a must

Experience in working with Australian clients

Excellent command of the English language

Certified Public Accountant or CA is highly desirable

XERO Certification

Expertise in Xero Projects as you will be managing this

Advanced Excel and Google Sheet capabilities

Ability to maintain a Dashboard for the Managing Director

Internal Management Reporting experience is a must (ability to create and maintain weekly revenue and stock reports)

Knowledge of Australian Taxation and Laws is essential

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to generate Financial Reports, and P&L Statements

Effective budgeting and forecasting

Ability to meet deadlines and thrives to work in a fast-paced but fun working environment

Goal-oriented and solution-focused professional
