Virtual Medical Assistant/Scheduler

Hand surgeon in USA is looking to hire a Nurse with clinical experience to provide scheduling and call back services.

Ideal candidate will be a Nurse who has worked in the USA and speaks flawless english with accent. Highly reliable with flexible schedule required.

Must have experience with wounds, wound care and ideally some orthopedic surgery experience so as to facilitate communication with the surgeon and other healthcare providers.

The primary focus of the job will be to schedule surgeries at hospitals over the phone, help keep surgeon organized via text message, maintain patient lists (on spreadsheet), and return phone calls.

Excellent English with medical terminology is required.

Ideal candidate would be available 16-24 hours daily, 5-6 days a week. This is position where several hours may pass without any required work, or multiple calls may need to be returned and surgeries scheduled in a short period of time.

Must have reliable cell coverage and/or internet access with no downtime.
