Captona is a private equity investment firm dedicated to the Energy Upgrade to see actual infoptona invests in late-stage, mid-market Clean & Renewable Energy projects across North America with a focus on Wind, Solar, Fuel Cell, Renewable Natural Gas, and Storage assets.

The Captona team is recruiting to expand its fast-growing business. We are seeking highly motivated candidates to join our platform in an entrepreneurial setting focused on renewable energy and impact investing focused firm that actively acquires and operates Solar, Wind and other generation assets. Position details are outlined below:

The key focus for you as a Recruitment Sourcing & Research Analyst is to execute sourcing strategies and plans focused on passive candidates. You will work closely with the head of talent acquisition and internal stakeholders to provide input into sourcing strategy and real-time feedback on sourcing strategy effectiveness.


Responsibilities:
Implementing the sourcing strategy and sourcing qualified candidates
Utilizing a variety of sources with a focus on direct sourced (passive) candidates.
Act as the first point of contact for candidates, delivering exceptional candidate care and ensuring that candidates are effectively pre-screened before inclusion into the recruitment process.
Proactively pipelining talent and creating pre-qualified candidate talent pools in line with the client’s workforce plans.
Conduct market, industry, and competitor research and mapping to identify key hiring trends as well as key recruitment targets.
Assisting with development and implementation of candidate initiatives such as candidate newsletters, marketing campaigns, sourcing strategies etc.
Qualifying candidates for skill, cultural, and motivational fit, utilizing behavioral based approach and screening criteria.

Requirements:
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and strong analytical perspective
Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong initiative, results-orientation, innovation, and an entrepreneurial attitude
Strong writing skills
Prior experience in the staffing industry or corporate HR a plus
Ability to source creatively from sources such as job boards, associations, employee referral programs, social media and internet searches
Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
