WordPress Developer

Are you a talented Wordpress designer/developer? Can you design & implement stylish designs working in Figma? Do you have a good understanding of basic web technologies such as setting DNS entries, FTP, server admin, wordpress migrations and live staging environments? Are you able to hit deadlines, follow instructions and communicate clearly? Is English a native language that you've grown up speaking? Do you understand how to build sites that turn heads and engages visitors to take action?

If successfully chosen you'll find yourself as part of a small boutique performance digital marketing business in Canada, working remotely on some amazing projects, with the opportunity to stamp your creativity on North American businesses.

We specialise in driving leads and sales for our customers and our core strategy for generating more traffic, leads and sales is through website design. You'll become a core member of our team and will be building and developing sites for some of North America's fastest growing brands.

Your Skill Requirements:
- You must have at least 5 years Wordpress experience
- You must be proficient with MySQL, HTML and CSS
- You must speak English natively - your English is of paramount importance.
- You must be skilled in Figma to create our client's web design mockups
- You must be able to take a provided design image (Figma or .PSD file) and convert it into a functional site
- You must be able to decommission old sites, launch new ones and implement testing to ensure correct functionality
- You must be able to work with Photoshop, or an equivalent, and be able to use FTP, and cPanel
- You must have a good understanding of related web technologies (DNS, email, etc)
- You must create AMAZING web designs that converts traffic into leads (via phone #, form fills)
- Additional website skills such as helping with site migration to a new server, site maintenance and diagnosis.
- Avada Theme experience is nice to have, but not necessary

Position Requirements:
- You must be fully committed to your role - we will accept both part time and full time (preferred) however if you are working full time we expect 100% of your availability.
- You will work from your own location.
- You must have fast & reliable computer. (MAC or PC.)
- You must have fast & reliable internet connection.
- You must have exceptional English speaking & writing skills.
- You must have strong communication skills with the ability to hit deadlines while working autonomously. - poor communicators will not be a good fit for our business.
- You must be set up for weekly Zoom video calls with our team -- web cam is required
- You must be comfortable using project management tools such as Asana
- You MUST NOT outsource this Upgrade to see actual info must be done by you, no exceptions.

Pay Rates:
-The FULL TIME salary for this position is (750 CAD =32,712.06 PHP) per month (160 hours/month). However we are happy to renegotiate this figure with the right applicant.
-The PART TIME salary for this position is (375 CAD =16,356.03 PHP) per month (80 hours/month).

Depending on the quality of your work and experience we are open to negotiation on your final salary.
