Finance Manager

We're looking for a proactive and skilled at decision-making, CPA who has experience using Xero

How you can help:

*Monthly and financial year forecasting
*Understanding and consolidating expenses
*Set up money routines
*Schedules for processing invoices
*Run weekly/monthly profit and loss statements and determine where improvements can be
*Forecast monthly expenses properly
*Run weekly reports for paid and unpaid invoices
*Put processes in place for following up on unpaid invoices
*Determine % of leads converted - and understand conversion rates
*Run reports on the time taken for invoices to be paid for different types of assessments
*Determine how many assessments were undertaken for the month
*Understand waitlist management and how many people were booked from the waitlist
*Understand the revenue cycle - main referrers, main industries, highest income providers (contractors but also referrers), who are the top 5 payers and how do we do more targeted advertising
*Set and track financial goals.
*Report on revenue (revenue cycle)
*Have month-end processes established
*Assist with preparing for EOY, BAS etc.
*Assist with meeting with the accountant to discuss tax strategy, leveraging etc.
*Assist with setting up passive income streams and understanding the financial needs of the businesses plus best approaches for other businesses.
*Follow up and reconcile unpaid claims
*Create policies and procedures (SOPs) for all the business's money management and financial aspects.
*Understand financial operational insufficiencies.
*Reconciling with XERO, payroll,
*Solving some of the billing issues we have in the practice
*Remove the client from any day-to-day billing and keep her updated monthly.
* You would ideally have over 5 years of experience in a professional practice;
* Experienced in preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for various entities using Xero ;
* Demonstrated a sound level of tax technical knowledge gained from education and prior experience;
* Strong written and verbal communication skills;
* Able to supervise and mentor junior Accountants
* Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude;
* Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadline;

Education

* Bachelor's degree in Business Commerce.
* CA or CPA certification is highly desirable.
