What we are looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile Accounts Assistant to work with an established Australian online marketplace that connects corporate customers with food and event suppliers.
This role will require you to perform basic accounting/bookkeeping tasks. Aside from your skills and experience, we are also looking for someone with a high level of attention to detail.
Skills and Experience
- Experience working with the accounting software - xero
- Experience creating/following-up invoices, reconciling payments and creating bills
- Excellent problem solving skills for dealing with customer queries
- Excellence customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritise and multitask
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Amenable to work during Australian time
Responsibilities
Accounts: Providing administrative support relating to accounting activities - accounts payable and accounts receivable, bookkeeping and reconciliation.
- Responding to customer accounting/billing queries
- Responding to supplier accounting/billing queries
- Create and review invoices/bills
- Follow up unpaid invoices
- Reconcile orders/bills with supplier invoices
- Calculate and check that payments, amounts and records are correct
- Ensure daily transactions are correctly captured in xero
General
Respond and action customer inquiries in a fast and effective manner
Accurately follow operational processes
Learn and master how to interact with Hampr’s product interface
