JOB OVERVIEW

HR duties
Compliance
Need: We need the company’s employment practices to be 100% compliant with government (Department of Labor, Texas Workforce Commission, Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, insurance requirements)
100% compliance with laws: study TWC (Texas Workforce Commission)
Proper posters are hung up at all locations
TABC
Posters/proper signage are hung up
TABC licenses & expirations
Best practices are being Upgrade to see actual info underage Upgrade to see actual infolivery:
Driver insurance and
Drivers license (DL) monitoring for compliance/expirations, TABC and food handler: expiration dates
Driver MVR(Motor Vehicle Record search): for aUpgrade to see actual info, etc and insurance compliance
Driver vehicle inspection every 3 months. Add photos?
Delivery driver training certification and recertification (how often?)
Food Handlers & Managers
Check weekly for expiring certificates and require new ones.
Remove noncompliant employees from the schedule.
Onboarding/Termination
Ensure 100% I9 compliance
Ensure compliance with age, drivers license issue dates, expired licenses, etc.
Ensure an accurate, up-to-date employee handbook is always available to teaUpgrade to see actual infombers with new policies added as necessary and defunct ones removed.


Performance management
Read and monitor logbook for all locations to ensure every teaUpgrade to see actual infomber on the schedule or clocked in is reviewed for their performance by the manager on duty at each location.
Monitor 30/60/90 day employment lengths and training reviews from managers.
Require management performance reviews on a regular basis
Schedule & Payroll
Assist & monitor payroll activities for compliance, accuracy, etc
Government communications
Receive and Respond to Texas Workforce complaints/violations, etc
Receive and Respond to pay garnishments (such as divorced, with child support payments)
Receive and Respond to EEOC complaints and respond.
And any other issues that may arise
HR
Resolve HR complaints and disputes
Monitor health, discrimination issues and accommodations
Monitor tardy and no call no shows and policy adherence
Drug testing, if and when we dUpgrade to see actual info to implement random or on hire (especially for drivers).
