We are on a mission to help NFP organisations to fulfil their goals, and this role is pivotal to our and our client's success. You'll be planning, architecting and building high-performance, accessible websites for some of the best organisations in Australia.
This role would suit someone with commercial experience as a web developer, ideally in multiple platforms, including WordPress.
You'll work with a team of other 3 developers in a remote environment and report to our Tech

Your daily tasks would include
???? Front-end - building custom themes from scratch (60% work)
???? Back-end - building custom themes functions and hooks (10% work)
???? Support tasks, small website improvements (20%)
???? Project management, tasks estimations, discovery (10%)
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly support requests from clients (through the support ticket centre)
- Develop custom WordPress themes for new client projects.
- Develop and manage custom and complex WordPress-based solutions.
- Create or customize plugin features to client websites (WordPress)
- Managing all technical aspects of the WordPress CMS.
- Work to resolve issues related to WordPress websites and client hosting
- Assist in maintaining client’s website speed performance and security.
- Providing coaching and leadership to other members of the team on processes and best practices.
- Helping to create a scalable development process.
Experience:
You should have 3+ years of web development, both front and back end, specifically with WordPress and WooCommerce.
The Developer will work with our project manager and lead developer to help design and implement high-performance, accessible products and experiences.
You should be comfortable using some internal communication tools such as Clickup, Google Drive, Zoom, and Slack for tea
You should have strong communication skills, also be confident enough to push back on the leadership team and express your opinion if you think the ship is heading off course.
