Fullstack Developer/System Administrator

Key responsibilities:
- Maintain an e-commerce website (that sells children's books)
- Maintain relevant backend systems and databases
- Maintain relevant infrastructure - Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Linode servers
- Document system architecture and identify improvement opportunities
- Maintain a children's e-learning platform (videos and interactive resources)
- A Working knowledge of payment integration (such as Stripe and eWay)

Would like to have:
- HTML5 development
- WordPress knowledge

Context
Storytime PODs is an exciting Australian digital services company that develops educational products and web platforms for businesses to engage, educate and entertain kids. We work with a diverse range of customers, including libraries, schools, healthcare and retail businesses. Our key markets include Australia, the USA, Canada, the UK and China.

We seek a system administrator/developer to maintain and optimise our online systems and websites. Experience with Ruby, Rails, ActiveAdmin, Ubuntu Linux servers and PostgreSQL servers is important. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience, and good communication skills and will be available to work during Australian business hours (Melbourne, Australia GMT+10).

This position is full-time (minimum 6 months), and we hope the applicant will become a permanent member of the StorytimePODs team.
