JOB OVERVIEW

We are an Australian digital marketing agency. We are looking for a Marketing VA / Social Media Manager to work Full-Time (Manilla time M-FUpgrade to see actual info) in close collaboration with an Australian team.

You will be working as a Marketing VA / Social Media Manager for the agency and for clients:

* Developing a content calendar - working with agency leaders to create a content calendar, for publishing content (video / blogs / social media)
* Coordinating Copywriting (with copywriters) - working closely with agency copywriters to create content. Your role will be to project manage copywriting, review progress, and ensure the content calendar is on time. You’ll follow up with copywriters, review progress.
* Copywriting required for different platforms - using the copywriting developed by the copywriters, you will create re-usable content for other platforms. So you will create different versions of the copy as required eg. for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIN etc
* Website article/content updates in Wordpress - you’ll update the content on the website using Upgrade to see actual info coding required, but basic knowledge of formatting articles/images for the web would be useful.
* SEO understanding - you’ll understand the basics of content marketing required for SEO, including keyword research, link- building and SEO content writing.
* Social platforms management - you’ll manage the social media calendar including postings of post / images / videos for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIN and other platforms as required.
* Community management - you’ll monitor Comments and interactions on social media, and respond (or refer to the team for response) as required.
* Idea Generation / Customer Research - you’ll be asked to input into idea generation, whether by brainstorming new headlines or angles, or researching new ideas.
* Graphic Design (with our designer) - working closely with an agency graphic designer to create content. Your role will be to create interesting visual assets for content. You will work to brief our graphic designer on new ideas, but should be able to create supporting assets for different assets for social media platforms. So you either have experience in Adobe products, or Canva, based on templates agreed with the designer.

As this is a new position, we require the successful applicant to be a self-starter and able to develop processes around the role.

You will need a good internet connection and computer. You will meet often with our team in Australia via Zoom.
