Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer Facing Role – you will be required to call clients and provide remote support as well as call clients regarding products and services
- Taking ownership of issues, and seeing to their resolution either by yourself or via appropriate escalation
- Communicating with the team and the client as to the status of issues and effectively remediating issues
- Improve product knowledge on a variety of products offered to our clients
- Troubleshooting and Support to multiple clients on a broad spectrum of solutions
- Document all ticket and project work including accurate timekeeping.
- Act as a point of escalation for junior engineers and have a mentoring role with them

- Other ad-hoc tasks as required
- Running daily backup reports
- Managing auto-generated customer tickets
- Ensuring timesheets are filled in as work is done
- Answering the phones
- You must pass 2 MS exams within 6 months of starting ($500 x 2 AUD bonus) and pay a review
Requirements
• At least 6 years of experience in the IT industry looking after Small and Medium-sized networks with at least an MCP.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and oral skills along with good demonstrable troubleshooting capabilities

• Familiarity with ConnectWise Automate, Manage and Control products highly regarded
• Organizational and Time management skills are highly regarded
• Must have a cheery personality with lots of enthusiasm
• Creative troubleshooting skills
• Experience with the following technologies:
o Microsoft Server 2016/2019
o Office 365 Platform
o Linux - Nice to have
o Windows 10
o Microsoft Hyper-V
o Exchange
o Remote Monitoring & Management Tools eg Manage & Automate
o Well-developed UTM/Router/Switch/Network planning/configuration/troubleshooting
o Experience with various Backup technologies (Storage Craft, Windows Backup, VEEAM, etc.)
o Familiarity with various Anti-Virus software (BitDefender, Sophos, Malwarebytes etc)
o Documentation skills
o Power BI
• Willing to work full time 8 hours a day - AEST Time zone
• Willing to work after hours
• Comfortable with using Hubstaff for time tracking.
