We're Innovatic Media, a media company that runs a number of publishing websites.

We're looking for an expert editor who can help us grow our newest outdoor online publication, Upgrade to see actual info for years to come. We're making a big push to ensure that the site has a bright and promising future, and you'll be a huge part of making that happen.

So if you consider yourself an editorial expert, great start! We’re looking for something a little more than expert, though. We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes grammar and spelling. We need someone who is scrutinizing every detail of this job ad and rolling their eyes at the questionable grammar choices.

The Opportunity:

Upgrade to see actual info is a rapidly growing publication with the mission to become the web’s best resource on all things nature & outdoors. We are passionate about the outdoors and love to go on nature adventures. We love to help people have fun and enjoy nature, while making sure it is still there for future generations.

We are looking to scale up our content production and will be publishing a lot of new articles and guides in the coming Upgrade to see actual info order to make this happen, we’re going to be needing help with creating article briefs for writers, managing writer assignments and ensuring articles are written in an engaging manner while having perfect use of the English language and grammar.

Requirements:

- Native-like knowledge of American English and grammar
- Great communicator and proactive, comfortable with managing and leading others
- Previous experience as a content editor, manager or writer
- High attention to detail and precision
- Able to work well independently
- You’re not afraid to ask questions if anything is unclear and are open to providing constructive feedback so that our way of working can be improved continuously
- Access to a reliable desktop/laptop computer with stable electricity and high-speed Upgrade to see actual infote: If you don’t have a computer do not apply, you won’t be able to complete the tasks required from a smartphone/tablet.

Some of the tasks that you will be working on…

- Editing google docs/word articles crafted by our expert writers, reviewing grammar and language, making changes as needed for better readability and correctness
- Managing a team of freelance writers, assigning them tasks, providing feedback and asking for revisions when necessary, helping them do their best work while ensuring adherence to editorial guidelines
- Creating content briefs for topics identified by our SEO strategy team, you’ll be provided with the title/topic and will research and outline relevant sections/aspects for the writers to include

In this role, you'll work directly with myself and Ida, Outforia's Head of Operations in the Upgrade to see actual infotailed SOPs will be provided with everything you need to know to do these tasks well, and I and Ida will also be able to assist you with one-on-one meetings to get you up and running.
