VA / Bookkeeper (FT, WFH)

General Admin (50%) /Cust Service (25%) /Bookkeeping type acitivites (25%)

We operate the leading online grass seed store serving the Australian market.

We are a family-owned business and have been in operation for over 8 years.

The successful candidate will be expected to become an expert in lawns. Our customers are seeking specific advice for the most appropriate seeds for their unique circumstances. The success of their lawn depends on being provided with appropriate advice on which product will meet their requirements. The customer service agent will need to gain sufficient knowledge through our training to provide this advice.

On the job training will be provided but candidates should demonstrate a capability to learn new skills autonomously.

We’re on a steady growth trajectory and we’re looking to build a team for the long term.

Schedule:
Mon-Fri 9am-5pm AEST
Key Responsibilities:

Order Management
Monitoring order status to ensure timely completion of all orders, including identifying and resolving any issues where orders have not been fulfilled in a timely Upgrade to see actual infoventory Management
Analysing sales history and monitoring of stock levels to ensure timely re-ordering of stock as required. Ensure systems are updated for current out of stock items.

Customer service
Responding to all inbound customer enquiries (via Chat, Email and Phone) regarding product advice, placing orders, delivery status etc.
Over several years we have developed a strong reputation for exceptional customer Upgrade to see actual info is important that the successful candidate be able to maintain that level of service.

Bookkeeping
Checking/reconciliation of invoices.
Other admin tasks

Desired skills and experience
• Exceptional written English (Required).
• Exceptional spoken English (Desired).
• High level of competency in Microsoft Excel (required)
• Familiarity with Woocommerce (or similar ecommerce CMS. Eg Shopify) preferred.
• Familiarity with Zendesk preferred.
• Familiarity with operating a live website chat. (Zendesk chat)
