JOB OVERVIEW

The Virtual Bookkeeper is responsible for the timely and accurate recording of transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and ensures maintenance of up-to-date books of accounts of each client to facilitate preparation of financial statements and other management reports to be used in making financial and operational decisions.

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:
-2-4 years bookkeeping experience only
-Must be a CPA (Philippines)
-Working knowledge of Xero, QB and MYOB with Excel expertise
-Can work with team/Independently and responsibly under pressure
-Experience in handling multiple clients
-At least 20mbps internet speed
-with 1-2 yrs AU bookkeeping experience

As a Sr Accountant, you will help support our business strategy which is to significantly grow sales and profitability by leveraging the strengths of our offered services, brand equity, industry knowledge and people while responsible for reporting of financial information for our clients. This includes the assistance and review of workings done by Jr Accountant/s within your team.  

You will work in the diverse and fast paced Finance team, working remotely with a group of professionals in the Philippines and Australia.  

Your responsibilities to Pacific Accounting and our clients include: 

1. General Finance 
General Bookkeeping tasks, including Payroll processing, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing, and bank reconciliations  
Completion of allocated monthly general ledger balance sheet reconciliations. 
Preparation and posting of journals to the general ledger. 
Preparation of the financial accounts. 
General Accounting duties including: 
Conducting month end financial reviews. 
Introducing best practice procedures and policies. 
Follow up and resolve issues as required. 
2. Reporting 
Preparation of the Activity Statements  
Preparation Management Reports  
General weekly and monthly reports  
Preparation and delivery of other compliance reports as required (eg. Payroll Tax, TPAR and Superannuation,)  
Preparation of EOFY Working Papers and Financial Statements 
3. Leadership  
Training of staff on specific task association with your team’s clients
Review of work prior to filing of reports and compliance as well as at random checking including compliance to deadlines
4. General 
Other duties as directed within the limits of the contractor's skill base. 
Program and annual training needs
5. Others 
Strictly adheres to the Company Guidelines 
Represents the Company in a professional manner outside the office. 
Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time. 
Strictly adheres to the best interest of the Company thru proper usage of company assets and resources
