Senior Power Apps Developer

We are looking for an experienced Power Platform Developer who is able to grow quickly into a Consultant role. (Power Platform Consultants will also be considered for this position.)

Company Summary
FutureAbility is an Australian specialist Microsoft Power Platform consulting company, delivering low-code solutions and training.

We are working on many different projects, mainly using Power Apps and Power Automate. Examples include a CRM, a Project Management app, an app for loading cargo onto planes, and apps that manage the recruitment process.
This role is new, exciting, and varied.

Location
You will work remotely, either from home or a serviced office location to be agreed.

Responsibilities:
• Build Power Apps & Power Automate solutions
o Lead model-driven and canvas Power Apps projects, using a variety of datasources – eg, SQL, SharePoint, Dataverse, connectors
o Determine release management and support plans, including access, environments, and security planning

• Manage deliverables and project tracking
o Keep track of all project deliverables in JIRA
o Attend daily and weekly planning meetings
o Prioritise appropriately, managing client requests and deadlines

• Assist with designing solutions
o Write scope and delivery plans for solutions
o Assist with project estimation and pricing
o Help determine licensing requirements

• Support community via Upgrade to see actual info channels and email
o Monitor Upgrade to see actual info server for questions from clients
o Research and reply with answers as necessary

• Power Platform – Developer/Consultant level understanding – certification preferred
o Power Apps – canvas, model-driven app design and build
o Power Automate – cloud flows, advanced expressions, various connectors
o Dataverse, SQL, and SharePoint as datasource

Education & Experience
• Tertiary Education preferred but not essential
• At least 3 years experience in a similar technical developer role
o At least 1 year working with Power Platform
o At least 3 Power Apps/Power Automate projects delivered
• Proven track record of process improvement, client service, and project management
• Small team experience preferred, though applicants with experience from any size organisation will be considered
