Product Writer

Looking for a writer who can write about products on Woocommerce. This includes adding new products (I'll provide a brief product, and you'll need to research the content about it, list pictures with correct alt tags, right image formats, right kind of product - whether simple or variable, write seo friendly content for that product, offer the right crosssells and upsells), writing blog posts about products and linking them to other blog posts discussing product categories or alternatives.

We are not just looking for a Virtual Assistant to just fill a job. This is a long-term position a stepping stone to joining an e-Commerce company based in UAE.

As you review the description, we welcome any questions you may have about the position or our team. The position will start at 10-20 hours per week, and you can choose your own hours. We believe that our teaUpgrade to see actual infombers perform best when they are given flexibility.

Our team will be choosing candidates for an audition. After submission of work, we will choose who to bring on as a new hire. The audition will take no more than 30 minutes and require you to do the basic image clipping, collage, and title & description writer.

Your role will be:
- Clipping/Cutout the image from the real picture to a product image with transparent background;
- Collage multiple pictures into one image (e.g. Collage multiple product images for an item in different colors into one to use as the main product image on the listing)
- Research about the product and write product title and description given by the picture and information of the item.
- List product with optimized keywords and product attributes, on WooCommerce,
- Write descriptions and add image to the category sections of the website.

Qualities Needed To Be Successful
Skills:
- Good attitude to work and self-progress
- Product listing and upload experience in an E-commerce company
- Basic image editing and HTML knowledge
- Advanced research skills and categorizing products
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent English in writing is needed to understand the products and to communicate with the team

+ Desire to Learn. We want people who are open to learning new skills and taking on new tasks. If you’re not excited about improving your skills and trying to keep doing the same thing every day, this is not for you.
