Quality Assurance Analyst

What you will be doing:
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be applying testing techniques to help ensure our software
products and services are fit for purpose. Our Quality Assurance Analysts:

• Develop test scenarios from a variety of information sources, including functional/non-
functional specifications, defects, and project documentation

• Create and execute test cases aligned to defined scenarios, ensuring appropriate breadth &
depth of testing
• Create and/or source test data required to execute test cases
• Analyse test results against expected results and develop skills in diagnosing root causes of
defects
• Raise defects that are well written, containing appropriate levels of information, and follow
these through to completion
• Contribute to expanding and maintaining our test repository, including our suite of
automated tests, data, and harnesses
• Help the team continuously improve by raising improvement suggestions across a range of
forums including retrospectives, and cross-teaUpgrade to see actual infoetings

What you bring:
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:
• Quality & customer-first mindset
• Understanding of the various phases/types of testing and their purpose
• Experience creating test scenarios and test cases from business and/or technical
documents/artefacts
• Executing test cases using appropriately sourced test data
• Ability to raise defects and a working knowledge of at least one defect management tool
e.g. JIRA
• Exposure to, or experience with, test automation tools/frameworks
• Knowledge or experience testing web services
• Enjoys working within and across teams
• Ability to manage time effectively across multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Problem solving capabilities and ownership
