Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

What does this mean? We take the complexity out of gift cards, providing new ways to connect merchants and consumers.

As ‘QA’, you will support how we execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. You will design and implement tests (manual and automated), and be responsible for debugging and defining corrective actions, ensuring that we continuously improve our approach in line with quality assurance metrics.

What you will support:

- Initially reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- As we grow, creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Collaborating across the engineering teams, to select and build appropriate automation tools, write acceptance criteria for our user stories and test completed stories on our test environment
- Write code to extend our integration testing coverage
- Test UI/UX for responsiveness across different devices and browsers
- Create bug reports with detailed descriptions when found
- Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved, monitoring debugging process results
- Investigating the causes of non-conforming software and training users to implement solutions
- Collaborating closely with the developers, design, operations, marketing, finance and sales teams on the QA, and release of products
- Incorporating feedback from our internal teams, ensuring the engineers have everything they need

What you can demonstrate:

- Extensive experience in software development, automation and manual testing
- A user-centric approach that puts the customer first
- Familiarity with the Agile frameworks
- You are a problem solver, and think through the edges, not leaving any far corner of the product untested
- Exceptional writing skills, and the ability to present and tell the story

Your qualifications:

- Qualifications in computer science or engineering or a relevant certification
- Previous software quality assurance, QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Proven experience working in a fast-moving fintech start up
