JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly creative individual who can take initiative to create relevant content and set up an effective workflow for the brand. Our ideal candidate will have expert knowledge in content creation and possess digital marketing skills.

The Content Manager should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas to produce results. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of content creation, social media marketing, and search engine optimization.

The responsibilities of the candidate includes but is not limited to the following:
- Research relevant topics for content creation. Well versed with keyword research tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, and/or keyword planner
- Revise, Update, Edit and format all articles so that they are consistent with the brand voice
- Ensure blog articles are published to the website(s) on a consistent basis according to the content calendar
- Optimize blog posts and stay updated with the content calendar
- Source images and videos from Pinterest and Instagram to be used for blog posts and videos
- Pin blog content to Pinterest via tailwind
- Add affiliate links and related blog posts to each article before publishing
- Email marketing: Send weekly emails to the email lists
- Coordinate with the rest of members of the team to accomplish weekly goals
- Edit video content for the YouTube channel
- Manage social media pages for the brand
- Possess some SEO skills
- Be familiar with WordPress dashboard
- Familiar with Shopify
- Well versed with Canva, photoshop and posses some graphic design skills
- Other duties as assigned by management

*Preferred Qualifications*
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree
- 3+ years professional experience as a content creator and virtual assistant
- Well versed with tools such as Asana, Slack, Wordpress, Canva, Tailwind, Later, Mailchimp, Convertkit and other necessary tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines and budget constraints
- Takes initiative to identify what needs to be done and improved upon
- Examine existing processes, identifying flaws and creating solutions to improve workflow
- Desire to continue to grow skill set with ongoing education and training
