WordPress Implementer

Company Introduction
We are a growing digital marketing company based in Sydney Australia that services a large number of clients and industries. We build a combination of Marketing, eCommerce, Membership and interactive functional websites for our clients, based on the WordPress & WooCommerce platform. We are seeking to expand our small team with a FULL TIME WordPress Implementer for our WordPress build projects.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced WordPress & Elementor expert to assist in the build of websites from both existing designs and from raw content. This position will require a combination of basic design skills, image manipulation, and page building skills within the WordPress Elementor page builder. Ideally, you will have a design background with the skills and knowledge to build, layout and design pages within WordPress Elementor.

Joining a small team, this role will have exposure across all areas of the development and digital marketing processes. Hence, an understanding and a willingness to get involved in the entire web development cycle, including design, development, content review and deployment is preferred. An interest in SEO will also be advantageous as opportunity exists to work in with our SEO team on some Upgrade to see actual infote that this is NOT a role that involves any coding knowledge, hence the ‘Implementer’ role title.

Responsibilities
• Building and designing frontend pages for WordPress & WooCommerce websites based upon existing templates, designs and/or from raw content.
• Designing and implementing strong user experience and conversion focused layouts and process flows
• Image manipulation and website graphics preparation
• WordPress site & content management
• Feeding back design and build process improvement changes to our design and development staff as required
• UX Responsive Testing and adjustments across desktop, tablet and mobile platforms
• Assisting with scoping and solution design to deliver effective and valuable solutions to clients
• Autonomously managing your time to meet your deliverables on project work

About You
• 3+ years of web design experience and capable of building high quality websites entirely on your own
• A solid understanding of strong desktop and responsive design
• Excellent visual design skills.
• Able to identify strong user experience and conversion focused layouts and process flows
• Strong and incomparable attention to detail
• Solid time management skills to work on multiple projects in parallel
• A conceptual thinker – able to clearly articulate creative ideas & solutions
• Good written and verbal communications skills

Desirable (Bonus) Skills
• Previous experience using project management and communication tools
(JIRA, Trello, Slack, Google Team Drive, Zoom etc)
• Any SEO or SEM skills looked upon favourably
• Experience with Elementor and WP Bakery page builders and themes based upon this software
• Basic CSS knowledge helpful.
