Hi There,
I'm an author based in the States who's looking for 1-2 full-time transcriptionists. Most of the work will be transcribing my voice, talking into a portable voice recorder. A small part of the work will be transcribing events or classes I attend.
Couple things to know:
-I don't need verbatim
-Don't need timestamps
The ideal candidate would:
-Be willing to learn (some of my content is technical)
-Have at least two years of transcription service
-Be close to fluent in English
-Be able to keep a consistent schedule (i'm flexible; but once we lock into something I'd like to keep that schedule)
-Be able to communicate daily by
-BONUS: if you're a movie fan
As somebody who battles wrist tendonitis, I think dictating my work is something I'll do quite a bit from now on.
As a result, I'm looking to build a long-term relationship with a transcriptionist. I have plenty of content to keep you busy. And I'm respectfuly of all Phillippine customs, such as 13th month pay.
If interested, please reply with:
1/How many hours a week you can devote to this project
2/Which hours of the day you plan working (PST)
3/How many years of transcription experience you have
4/Your favorite movie
5/Whether you are willing to do a test transcription of a 15-minute sample
Thanks for your time. Good luck with your job search!
Michael
