REMOTE WORK: Financial Accounting Senior Specialist

Piloto Asia, a fast-growing regional Accounting, Corporate Secretarial and Consulting firm (Upgrade to see actual info), is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position as a Specialist, Financial Accounting. This role would be based remotely at the comfort of your preferred workplace and you would be interacting with other remote professionals in Singapore and the region.

About the Role
1) Client Accounting and Tax Matters Execution (80%): You will be assisting Team Leader in executing all accounting and tax related work in accordance with the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, while being a point of contact to end clients.

You’re expected to handle full set of accounts with minimal supervision from AR, AP, fixed assets, notes to accounts, payments, receipts, payables, receivables, accruals, adjustments, bank reconciliations, perform corporate tax computation and filing financial statements (FS) in XBRL format.

Prior experience in corporate service providers or accounting practice is compulsory and experience with Singapore firms a strong advantage.

2) Administrative and Compliance Support (20%): You would also take a secondary duty of supporting the corporate secretarial function and helping the BU with client onboarding and screening. Part of the exposure of the role is a complete understanding of a Singapore company incorporation and KYC process.

With guidance from the Accounting Team Lead, you will help ensure all clients’ documents, records, invoices, KYC information and approvals are properly filed.

Core Requirements:

1) Skills: Meticulous, good time management and planning skills to meet deadlines. Experience with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks, Freshbooks, Oracle, SAP an advantage.

2) Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting work experience. Experience in outsourcing environment is a must. A professional certificate such as ACCA an advantage but not compulsory.

3) Open Minded: You have a growth focus and a positive mentality looking for breakthrough in strategy, processes or Upgrade to see actual infolf-motivated and can-do attitude. You are part of a small team and strong involvement is expected across functions. Prior experience in small but high-growth team a plus.
