Digital Content Coordinator

Innotech is seeking a Content Coordinator to facilitate and direct the creation of optimized, site content, articles, email copy, product listings, media copy, and more in order to provide a superior user experience, drive engagement, and ultimately sales. The right candidate will have impeccable organization and analytical skills, and a track record of achieving measurable content production goals in a deadline-driven environment.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
To produce, source, edit and publish engaging digital content that inspires and engages our audience.
To advise and support staff to create better awareness and understanding of key audiences and the use of various digital channels.
Be a brand champion by ensuring consistency in tone of voice and visual appeal in all forms of digital communication.

TASKS:
- Assist in the planning, organize and schedule content aligned with campaigns and their strategic goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan, create, and curate site content, style and layout
- Create and publish engaging content
- Edit, proofread and improve writers’ posts
- Liaise with content writers to ensure brand consistency
- Optimize content according to SEO
- Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics
- Schedule and stage content using management tools for distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic
- Coordinate and maintain calendars for content publishing.
- Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection)
- Monitor and measure channels for performance and effectiveness of content.
- Respond to messages received on social platforms.

SCOPE & SKILLS
We already have a well-established business and website, including content and media. This would be an ongoing job moving forward and you will find yourself doing many types of content with guidance. You could be creating promo material, product listings, a video transcript, social content or a technical insert.
This position requires a good understanding of writing engaging copy with the ability to switch content purposes when needed. You will also need to understand SEO principles although we will train you in the specific methods that we expect to be followed.
We have extensive training materials available, but you must have an understanding of copy and experience. You must be able to work well with others because you will be working with graphic artists, designers, writers and videographers ensuring the content match the layout and graphics.

TOOLS:
You must be able to meet deadlines and also be familiar with Google Sheets, Google Docs, familiarity with SEMrush or similar tools is necessary. Shopify and Amazon posting skills are preferred as well.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
We prefer someone with a degree in English or a Master's in English since being able to write English well with correct grammar, spelling, etc. is VERY important for this position.
Absolute fluency and mastery of the English language are required.
Has at least 1-2 years of English Copywriting experience.
Experienced in writing copy for products, brands, posts, etc.
Experienced in editing and proofreading copy for errors.
Other Skills and Knowledge needed for the position:
Knowledge of copywriting SEO and keyword research.
Willing to Sign Non-Disclosure Agreement

Ability to create effective, engaging, and at times technical content following basic SEO principles.
