Android App Developer for existing app

We are an Australian based small company that have developed an app that allows orders to be taken on an Android handheld via the scanning of barcodes. The app is in working order and requires more features and improvements to be added.

The app can already take new orders, record new customers, change pricing, change quantities and then sync to a mySQL database running on a Windows server.

We are looking for a developer to work full time on rolling 2 week contracts.

The expected total contract will be 1-2 months depending on the capabilities of the developer. The contract may be longer or shorter depending on the work performed by the developer.

Skills required:
Hard worker with good communication skills and good English
Good time management skills
Experience in developing Android apps
PHP experience (the app syncs with a mySQL database so ability to code PHP is required)
Experience with working with API’s


Tasks required to complete
There are several minor bugs in existing software that need to be fixed
There are some new features that need to be introduced
Optimise the software to improve performance
Update sync process to allow additional data to be loaded to handheld


Notes:
Our company is based in Australia.
A work week is 40hrs and between Monday and Friday
A work day is 8hrs and start time each day is flexible
A daily summary of work completed is required at the end of each day
Daily commits to Github must be made each day
Contact may be terminated if work quality or effort isn’t up to standard
Code must be well commented and of high quality
