CAD Drafter Overview:

Designs clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detailed drawings from templates or rough or detailed sketches or notes. Prepares code-compliant housing designs in AutoCAD for communities across various states and jurisdictions. Creates 3D models using SketchUp or Aurora.

Position Responsibilities

Works within pre-determined templates to generate new build housing permit packages.
Stays organized and on-task in a high-volume, metrics-driven workflow.
Prepares layout drawings of tolerances, dimensions and materials.
Participates in the review of designs completed by other teaUpgrade to see actual infombers, gives and takes design feedback.
Maintains project standards, conventions, and quality
Utilizes in-house project management software to maintain workflow and communication.
