Rockstar Designer for Podcast Production Company

Podify is a podcast production company that offers podcast editing, video editing, web development, social media management, and writing services. We are looking to expand our team and are looking to identify a dedicated, reliable, and experienced designer.

About the Role:
Today it is essential for podcasters to have artwork and branding that will stand out. Our team is composed of industry professionals who deeply care about supporting the shows we produce and promote. We don’t compromise, take short-cuts, or do the bare minimum. As part of the design team, you will be responsible for creating social media design elements, website design assets, podcast artwork, logos, branding assets, and other design assets for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducts high-quality research to determine design approach
Create featured images for client’s podcast episodes
Create eye-catching podcast artwork
Use design principles to maximize effectiveness
Propose creative design concepts as you identify opportunities
Suggest design and branding for social media assets
Revise, edit and improve any design materials
Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials
Plans concept by studying information and materials
Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
Completes projects by coordinating with production team, producers, and project managers
Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Collaborate and work closely with project managers and production team

Skills and Requirements:

Proven experience as a designer
Experience designing for radio/podcasts/podcast production

Compensation:
All new teaUpgrade to see actual infombers start on a project basis. We want to make sure you are a good fit for us and that we are a good fit for you. We will pay you per project and if we all agree it would be good to move to a full-time role we will help you make that transition.
