A data driven Social Media Maven with a proven track record of increasing online engagement.
We are looking to work with a positive, upbeat leader who is excited to own the process and the results. You are outcome focused, reliable, confident in your expertise, and not afraid to provide direction.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following, but not limited to:
- Own the management of all social media platforms focused on daily social posts, community moderation and social listening. This includes:
1. Conceptualize, draft and edit all posts across all platforms with a focus on creating content that builds community, fosters engagement and inspires action
2. Research keyword priorities and implement across all content creation
3. Engage with and share 3rd party content daily, with a focus on building meaningful connections
4. Monitor all social communications and respond to audience in a timely manner
5. Actively support all other marketing initiatives across the company. Proactively maintain all social platforms, keeping look & feel current and up to date
- Lead the development of the monthly content calendar, working closely with other members of the team to align messaging across the scope of the company
- With the Operations Manager, set targets, track metrics and regularly report progress on social media initiatives
- Strategically set the direction, make recommendations, and lead the way on all things social media
- Proactively implement the latest social media trends and best practices
- Either personally implement, or oversee the implementation of paid social media advertising as needed
- Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
- Define most important social media KPIs
- Measure the success of every social media campaign
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
- Engage with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network

SKILLS & ABILITIES
The ideal individual possesses the following strengths and skills:
- Using social media for brand awareness and impressions
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- The ability to draw actionable conclusions from detailed metrics
- Skilled in Canva or other graphic software
- Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
- Good understanding of social media KPIs
- Familiarity with web design and publishing
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
- Education requirements: Bachelor's degree, law degree or clerk, business acumen
- Up to date knowledge of online marketing strategies, digital technologies and the latest social media trends
- Has knowledge in tracking, interpreting and keeping up with changes in social media metrics and data analysis
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
- Eager to keep abreast of industry innovations and new software
- Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes.

PENSATION
This is an independent contractor position. Estimated time commitment is approximately 15 hours per week. Compensation is based on a competitive hourly rate.
