TASKS AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

· Develop standard operating procedures;
· Design, code and debug applications primarily but not limited to Python;
· Liaise with colleagues to implement technical designs;
· Peer review code changes;
· Analyze, design and develop tests;
· Examine problem areas and find solutions;
· Maintain and improve existing code bases;
· Provide written knowledge transfer material;
· Develop software solutions by studying information needs;
· Software modeling and simulation;
· Collaborate cross-functionally with business users, data scientists and project managers;
· Analysis of software, code, requirements, system risks and software reliability;
· Software testing and quality assurance;
· Stay on top of the latest technological trends to provide forward-thinking recommendations to the business;
· Participate in infrastructure and back-end architectural designs;
· Evaluate emerging technology and cutting-edge solutions that are likely to improve product efficiency, reliability and integration.
· Build prototypes to support decision-making regarding the product’s technological direction.
· Analyze, define and expose potential issues in the software development cycle.
· Promote loosely coupled architecture based on a micro-service philosophy.
· Share your knowledge through presentations, trainings and workshops.
· Mentor other developers regarding product development best practices.
· Participate in developing our DevOps practices.
· Identify, assess and resolve production performance issues.


REQUIREMENTS :

· 3 to 5 years and more of experience as a full-time developer
· Experience in the deployment of web applications;
· Experience with web backend (Python) and SaaS applications;
· Experience with data scraping and web programmation;
· Passionate about AI and emerging technologies;
· Results oriented and autonomous;
· Creative thinker and ability to design “out of the box” interfaces;
· Functional in a remote working environment;
· Fast learner, critical thinker, self-motivated, team player, good communication skills
