WordPress Full Stack Developer (PHP, MySQL)

Key responsibilities:
- Build and deploy new features, and customise plugins, for our production WordPress website (according to our Product Roadmap)
- Implement data views and search functions for customers using the WordPress website
- Manage data in MySQL (and possibly Azure) towards automation of customer dashboards
- Implement website best practices and manage the ongoing maintenance of our websites (including performance, security and plugin/theme updates)

Some of our existing business tools include WordPress (version 5.7.1), MySQL, Cornerstone 8.0.4, Google Suite/Analytics, Azure, Power BI and Excel.

Context
Storytime PODs is an exciting Australian B2B company that develops digital products and web platforms for businesses to engage, educate and entertain kids. We work with a diverse range of customers, including hospitals, medical centres and libraries. Our markets currently include Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada and the UK.

We seek a Full Stack WordPress (PHP/MySQL) developer to continue developing our website and to manage our database and reporting ecosystem. Our reporting ecosystem provides interactive reports for customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have relevant WordPress, PHP and MySQL experience (at least 3+ years), strong attention to detail, good communication skills and will be available to work during Australian (Melbourne) business hours. Azure experience would also be helpful.

This position is full-time, and we hope the applicant will become a permanent member of the Storytime PODs team. We are happy to explore additional employment benefits after 3 months.
