Content Writer VA

We are a young start-up women's wellness platform that is focused on supporting the emotional and mental health of millenial women. Generating daily content to our readers to help them holistically on their journey to optimum wellbeing.

We're looking for a talented, ambitious and self-driven Copywriter to join our team.

Our ideal candidate is a skilled, highly motivated, and creative writer with an eye for detail. If you are pro active, can use your initiative, grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we’d like to meet you.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Working closely with the founder, you will create & produce content that will support/develop the company's marketing strategy (short & long-term) and to research and write content around the mental/emotional wellbeing sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Writing fresh SEO optimised articles for My Easy Therapy blog (1 post per day)

- Content research - using community findings/polls and SEO, to come up with content ideas re: about interesting holistic female wellbeing topics.

- SEO optimise articles including keyword planning, writing meta descriptions and planning titles for blogs (We use many external SEO applications to assist with this and successful candidate will be trained).

- Planning and creating content clusters based on SEO/SERP research

- Edit articles sent in by contributors and experts. Put them into a more friendly tone of voice, in line with the My Easy Therapy guidelines. Add intros and outros with call to actions.

- Sourcing correct imagery for articles

- Engagement analysis measured against company KPIs

REQUIREMENTS

Essential:
- Open-minded with a willingness to learn.
- Proven copywriting skills
- Must have excellent written and spoken English
- Able to write to a specific audience
- A strong interest in content marketing
- Knowledge of social media channels
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint
- Diligent, proactive and eager to learn and improve as much as possible
- Excellent grammar and punctuation.
- Must understand the brand guidelines and My Easy Therapy tone of voice to resonate with the target audience of those struggling with mental wellbeing.
- Driven, hard-working and uncompromising in delivering high quality results in tight timelines
- Able to commit at least 25 hrs per week


Desirable:
- Knowledge of SEO and SERP
- Familiar with wordpress
- Experience in SEO optimisation
- A keen interest in our industry (mental/emotional wellbeing)
- Examples of written articles/blog to demonstrate copywriting skills
- Degree in marketing/ business etc
