As a horror publishing company with a team of content writers and lots of pre-existing content on our site, we’re looking to hire 1 full-time SEO specialist (will also consider part time). You will be working closely with the CEO and learning about the publishing industry, various marketing techniques, how to manage a high performing team and how we create a legion of raving fans.
DAILY AND WEEKLY TASKS
We’re looking for a superstar SEO specialist to create a plan to rank our articles then take massive action. The 4 main responsibilities would be:
1. Communicate article topics to our content team based off keyword research
2. Optimize pre-written articles and future articles for keywords and all on-page elements
3. Draft and format posts in WordPress, including interlinking and backlinking
4. Execute and tracking link building outreach campaigns:
a. Contacting other websites, blogs, and online media outlets to link back to our website content, infographics, and guides.
b. Identifying broken link opportunities that we could replace with one of our links
c. Posting our content and sharing other's content to social media channels to generate web 2.0 backlinks
d. Analyze competitors links and create strategy to gain more links
e. Execute on building links
HOURS
We're looking for a full time SEO Specialist. The trial period starts with 20-30 hours per week with a transition to 40 hours per week based on fit and
Compensation is $3-7 USD per hour, dependent on experience and skills.
WORKING TIME ZONE
10am GMT +8 onward
Work from the comfort of your own home. Since we’re an international team, certain follow up and coordination messages will occur during the evenings. You’ll be working closely with our CEO who is based out of Southeast Asia and in the same time zone as you.
