Learn On-Page SEO working as a Content Editor

Job Description:
We are looking for candidates who possess the ability to think both creatively and analytically.

Content Editor duties include analyzing and recommending effective on-page optimization strategy, editing and proofreading content, among other tasks.

There are 2 key components to the Content Editor position: Technical On-Page Optimization and Content Editing

On-Page Optimization Responsibilities:
Provide “on page” recommendations for client pages
Analyze reports from SEO tools (specifically Page Optimizer Pro and CORA); use relevant data to provide specific recommendations to the client in the form of an On-Page Recommendation Report
Write or commission the creation of additional content for increased on-page optimization
Stay up to date with the company approach to on-page SEO; Google updates, and industry trends

Content Editing Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and proofread supporting content for client sites
Stay current with the latest trends in content creation and undertake effective idea-generating activity

Content Editor Requirements:
A Native English Speaker or Non-native with Exceptional Fluency (University-level English education)
Basic knowledge of SEO principles and practices, or willingness to learn
Excellent writing and editing skills
Comfortable working in Google Drive, Asana, and Slack

General Information:
Work would be roughly 10-15 hours per week on average.
Training starts mid-May, Job officially begins June 1st.
